San Francisco darkwave gentlemen The Soft Moon may as well be living in Berlin for how often they’re making it here. Not that anyone is complaining, in fact, quite the opposite. Their sound channels the best bits from bands like Suicide and Danse Society and in a town like this that’s a sound that really speaks to people. It’s dangerous, a sound that’s cavernous and drug soaked and often feels like a sensory deprivation experiment.
The Soft Moon are of course touring on the back of their very much in demand brand new LP, Zeros. Their first LP since their 2010 self titled debut, the finished result is more clashy than what you’d expect if you’ve spent quality time with the first album’s subliminal prowl.
